Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation Broadcasts its Interview with the Top Human Rights
Activist Wei Jingsheng on Chinese New Year Day of Ox
On
January 26, 2009, Chinese new year day for the year of the Ox, CBC Radio One's
early edition broadcasted its host Rick Cluff's interview with the top Chinese
human rights activist Wei Jingsheng as the kick off of the Chinese New Year, as
well as on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Democracy Wall. In his interview, Mr. Wei talked about
his work during the Democracy Wall period, as well as his life followed in
prison. Near the end, Mr. Wei also
gave a forecast of China's future ahead.
CBC
Radio One is the English-language news and information radio network of the
publicly-owned Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It is commercial free and
offers both local and national programming. It is available on either AM or FM
to 98 per cent of Canadians, and is also available overseas through Radio
Canada International
and
also over the Internet.

2009年1月26日正是中国牛年新年。加拿大国家广播电台一号台的早上节目播出了主持人克拉夫(Rick
Cluff)对中国头号人权活动家魏京生的采访作为新年播放的相关系列的第一集。在采访中,魏京生先生回顾了30年前民主墙的情况以及之后的牢狱生活,并预测了中国不久的将来。
