Wei Jingsheng visits Paris and Meets with Supporters of Democracy and Human Rights in China and Organizational Friends

On the afternoon of November 25, 2013, Mr. Wei Jingsheng and Ms. Huang Ciping, the chairman and the secretary-general of the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition, made a visit to Reporters Without Borders' headquarters in Paris, France. They met and talked with its head of Asia-Pacific Desk, Benjamin Ismail, etc. and received their materials.

In that evening, Wei Jingsheng, accompanied by a senior French diplomat, visited the Elysee Palace, the official residence of the President of the French Republic. Mr. Wei met with Mr. Paul Jean-Ortiz, the diplomatic adviser and G8 Sherpa to French President Francois Hollande. Both sides talked extensively of their common concern of human rights and international affairs. The meeting between old friends was both relaxed and pleasant.

魏京生访问巴黎并拜会支持中国民主与人权的朋友和组织

2013年11月25日下午，中国民主运动海外联席会议主席魏京生先生和秘书长黄慈萍女士前往位于法国巴黎的无疆界记者组织的总部，与其亚洲部负责人Benjamin Ismail等进行了会谈并接受了他们的资料。

傍晚，魏京生在法国资深外交官的陪同下，前往爱丽舍宫(法国总统的官邸与办公室所在地)会见了法国总统奥朗德的外交顾问及其八国首脑会议特使燕保罗先生。双方就共同关心的人权和国际事务深入交谈。老朋友之间的会谈轻松而愉快。
