Memorial Service for the June 4 Massacre Held in Washington DC, Called For Cleaning up the Evil of the CCP and Seeking Responsibility

-- by Kitty Wang, NTDtv

Updated: 2016-06-05 08:34 PM [NYT]

[NTD June 6, 2016] On the evening of June 4, IFCSS held the 27th anniversary candlelight vigil for the June 4 Massacre victims in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC.  Participants called for the exposing of the atrocities of the state terrorism conducted by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) regime for the last more than 60 years, to clean up its evil nature and seek accountability.

Artist Chen Weiming said: "Now we are faced with the red Chinese flag which is stained with Chinese people's blood, we will say no to the state terrorism of the Communists.  We will expose their brutality to the whole world."

Chen Weiming, an artist from Los Angeles, revealed the Goddess of Democracy he sculpted, along with the Exhibition of the State Terrorist Atrocities Conducted by the Chinese Communist Regime.

There were many young people who were born after the 1980's participated the memorial service, including some who learned about the crime of the Communist regime while they were inside China through software that breaks the CCP Internet firewall.

Chen Chuangchuang, an alternative council member of IFCSS, said: "In 2006, I surfed the Internet, and then opened to a free world through the FreeGate software.  I realized that those evils are happening now, just as I mentioned about the suppression to those faith groups such as the Christians, the Falun Gong practitioners, the Uyghurs, and the Tibetans."

When the June 4th Massacre happened in 1989, Xia Yeliang, a former professor of the Peking University, was studying in California.  After the Tiananmen Square massacre, he witnessed members of the Chinese embassy and consulates quitting the Communist Party.

Xia Yeliang, now a visiting fellow at the Cato Institute, said: "There was a Second Secretary in the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco and several diplomats who announced on the spot that they could not follow this kind of Communist Party anymore.  They announced their withdrawal from the Communist Party and would not return to China."

Xia Yeliang said that the Communist regime in the past more than 6 decades has brought catastrophe to the Chinese people.  The future should absolutely no longer tolerate the rampant evil in China by the communists.

He said, "Evil has to be liquidated and be accountable in many respects including moral, political, economic, etc.  We will continue count this liquidation."

Looking back to the collapse of Berlin Wall, Lee Edwards, the chair of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, said that the upcoming collapse of the Communist regime will be much faster than most people think.

Finally, the IFCSS awarded the 2016 Spirit of Freedom Prize to Chinese right-defense activist Zhang Haitao and human rights lawyer Guo Feixiong.

NTD reporter Kitty Wang reported from Washington DC, the Capital of the USA.
