Announcement:
The Wei Jingsheng Foundation Starts Its "The Way Out for China"
Seminar Series，Opening With Its Pilot Seminar "Lin Biao's Coup and
Beyond" on September 24, 2016
With
the upcoming social, political, economic and cultural changes in China, the Wei
Jingsheng Foundation will hold a seminar series in an effort to take the
initiative and seek the best possible ways for China to deal with these
changes. This series will start on
Saturday, September 24, 2016.
The
name of this seminar series is: "The Way Out for China." Each separate seminar will target one
particular subject of interest or an ongoing event in China. It will take the format of starting
with a presentation by a honored/invited speaker about the subject of the
seminar, followed by other speakers and discussion. We welcome contribution and discussion from the attendees at
the seminars, and suggestions for future seminar topics and contents, etc.
The
current plan is that these seminars will be held several times a year, in the
afternoon on Saturday or Friday from 1pm to 5pm. During the seminar, there will be a 20-minute break. Coffee/tea/cookies/snacks will be
provided.
Usually,
this seminar series will be held at 1150 Connecticut Ave., NW, DC 20036,
USA. Anyone interested in
attending a particular seminar, please register yourself with the Wei Jingsheng
Foundation via: HCP@WeiJingSheng.org or HCP0411WJS@aol.com more than two days
before the seminar date. Seating
is limited, so please register as early as possible. Due to the security setup at the building, you also will
need to call 202-270-6980 to enter the seminar room upon your arrival.
The
first of these "The Way Out for China" seminars will be
On Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 1pm
to 5pm, followed by a dinner at 6pm.

The subject of this pilot seminar:
"Lin Biao's Coup and Beyond".
The main speaker of the seminar will be
Wei Jingsheng,
President of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, followed by several other speakers
and discussion.

通告：魏京生基金会将举办"中国的出路"系列研讨会，并于2016年9月24日开办其第一期讲座：“从林彪的政变说起”
随着即将到来的中国社会、政治、经济及文化等方面的变化，魏京生基金会将开始举办"中国的出路"研讨会系列，以求争取主动，寻求在中国应对这些变化的最佳方式。本系列将于2016年9月24日下周六正式开始。
本系列研讨会的名称是：“中国的出路。”其中每个单独的研讨会将针对公众感兴趣的某个特定主题；或人们关注的在中国发生的事件。其形式为特邀嘉宾就研讨会的主题演讲，之后为其他人发言和讨论。我们欢迎研讨会与会者的参与和讨论，以及有关今后研讨会主题与内容等的建议。
目前的初步计划是每年举行若干次的研讨会。研讨会的时间一般是周六或周五下午1点至下午5点，会议将提供咖啡/茶/饼干/零食等，以及20分钟的休息时间。
