Wei Jingsheng, Yu Luowen, Ye Ning Talk about the Inspiration of Lin Biao's Coup for Today's Military in China (The First "The Way Out for China" Seminar by the Wei Jingsheng Foundation)

On September 24, 2016, the first "The Way Out for China" seminar organized by the Wei Jingsheng Foundation was held in Washington DC. The main purpose of this series of seminars is to analyze and judge the current situation in China, thus to develop a correct response and to promote a democratic revolution in China. Presiding over the seminar was Ms. Huang Ciping, the Executive Director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation. People who attended the seminar included Yu LuoWen, the brother of the prophet who was victimized during the Cultural Revolution; the famous Chinese lawyer Ye Ning; Qin Weiping (political commentator); senior journalist Tie Xun, doctor of law Wang Xiangguo, reporter Yin Gang etc.

Wei Jingsheng said: Some scholars in China believe that Lin Biao had no intention of a coup against Mao Zedong. Lin Doudou (Lin Biao's daughter) hopes that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) can redress Lin Biao's rebellion. But the CCP still continues its tone about Lin Biao that was set by Deng Xiaoping. In the end did Lin Biao have a coup plan? I think there are evidences. When I was serving in the 47th Chinese army, we should go to Beijing to replace the 38th Army, according to the instructions from Lin Biao. That was part of the preparatory plan of the coup by Lin Biao. Although the 38th Army was also a trump army that Lin Biao once commanded, after the War in Korea there were too many children of the cadres who were difficult to command. So after the 9th Congress of the CCP, there were serious disagreements between Lin Biao and Mao Zedong. When Mao Zedong arrested Chen Boda (Lin Biao's close friend), that was a signal that he was going to deal with Lin Biao. Later, Zhou Enlai found this military intention and reported it to Mao. So Mao Zedong told Lin Biao that the 47th army should go to the west of China to stand against "Soviet revisionism". Thus, Lin Biao's move failed. Regarding the 571 Project ("571" for the similar sound in Chinese to Wu Qi Yi for "armed uprising") of Lin Liguo (the son of Lin Biao), Wei thinks that was also the failure of Lin Biao. There were two mistakes by Lin Biao that led to the overall failure. The first was the improper use of people - to use his child Lin Liguo who was only in his 20's year. The second was that when he really should have taken quick action, he acted too slowly in the way of "a benevolent woman". Thus he allowed Mao Zedong the opportunity to defeat him. Now as the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CCP is investigating several hundreds of officials and generals in the military who rose up through the ranks due to Xu Caihou and Guo Boxiong (both were arrested), why do they want to wait for arrest instead of taking up a coup of revolt? In particular, for an important general like Fan Changlong who holds real power yet is standing right at the edge of the cliff, what is their purpose of waiting? Are they waiting for the release of Guo Boxiong and Ling Jihua? Or waiting until the CCP becomes democratic at its 19th Congress, to elect that ruler out of his post?

Yu LuoWen thinks that the minutes of the 571 Project woke up the whole generation of youths in China back then. Thus the youths who were sent to the countryside realized that they were made to be slaves by Mao Zedong, seen as the modern Qin Shi Huang (the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty), who sent these youth to labor reform. The minutes of the 571 Project laid the foundation for ideological liberation of the whole nation after Mao's death. It should be said that Lin Biao is guilty, but his son's 571 Project has a contemporary credit which will be beneficial to China in the future.

Well-known lawyer Ye Ning thinks that Lin LiGuo's 571 Project minutes not only played a role of enlightenment for the Chinese to recognize Mao Zedong as a fascist feudal tyrant, but also laid the ideological foundation for reform and opening up China in the future. The fault of Deng Xiaoping was that he did not completely negate Mao Zedong as a tyrant madman as Lin Biao and Lin Liguo did. Thus it resulted a huge sequela for China's reform today -- the large-scale resurgence of Mao's leftism is the sin of Deng Xiaoping. However, the spirit of the complete rebellion with a military coup of Lin Biao and Lin Liguo will not die, and will be an unavoidable and essential subject for people to study; especially those rebels within the Communist system who want to overthrow the current Communist dictatorial regime. 2016年9月24下午，由魏京生基金会策划主办的《中国的出路》系列研讨会首期研讨会在华胜顿DC进行。研讨会主旨就是针对当下中国时局进行分析，研判，开出正确的应对之策，推动中国民主革命变局。主持会议是魏京生基金会办公室主任黄慈平女士。参加研讨会的有遇罗文(文革受难先知遇罗克弟弟，华人著名律师叶宁，秦卫平(时政评论人)，资深记者铁勋，法学博士王相国，记者尹刚等。

魏京生讲：国内有学者认为林彪没有政变反毛泽东企图，林豆豆希望中共能给林彪平反，现中共仍延续邓小平给林彪定下的基调，不能平反。林彪到底有没有政变计划？我认为有。当年我在47军的时候，本来应奉林彪指示从驻地调往北京换防38军，那就是林彪的事先政变计划准备的一部分，38军虽然也是林彪指挥过的王牌军，但是，38军韩战后干部子弟太多，不好指挥，因此林彪在中共九大后与毛泽东的思想严重分岐，毛泽东抓了陈伯达就是要搞林彪的信号。后来周恩来发现此事报告了毛，毛泽东找林彪说：47军应去西部防苏修，林彪这一步棋被老毛破了。至于林立果571工程纪要，是林彪的败笔，林彪两大失误导致全局失败，第一用人不当，不该用林立果这二十几岁的孩子来干老毛，第二林彪该出手时未出手，九大以后动作太慢，完全是妇人之仁。给毛泽东以时机收拾自己。现在被中纪委调查的徐才厚，郭伯雄提拔的几百将军们，与其束手等侍被抓，不如揭竿政变造反，尤其是范长龙这类站悬崖边上的掌实权的重要将官，此时不反更待何时？难道还要等令计划，郭伯雄出狱再干？难道等19大上民主选掉当政者？

遇罗文认为：571工程纪要唤醒了我们一代人，让当时下乡的我们清楚了，我们被毛泽东这个现代秦始皇给奴隶化了，他把千万下乡青年劳改了。571纪要为毛死后全民族的思想解放打下了思想的基础。应当说林彪有罪，但是他儿子搞571功在当代，利在千秋。

著名律师叶宁认为：林立果的571工程纪要，不仅仅为中国大众日后认识毛泽东的法西斯封建暴君起到了对全民族的启蒙作用，而且对日后的改革开放打下思想基础，邓小平的错就在于没有向林彪和林立果一样彻底否定毛泽东这个暴君狂徒，才给今天中国改革带来巨大后遗症，毛左的如今大面积回潮泛滥就是邓小平的罪过。但是，林彪和林立果彻底造反武装政变的精神不朽，是后人尤其是制内反叛者在推翻当下中共专制政权必须研究和不可迴避的课题。 [博讯首发,转载请注明出处] (博讯 boxun.com)
