Seminar, and This Month Will Hold a Third "The Way Out for China"
Seminar
On January
21, 2017, the Wei Jingsheng Foundation held its second "The Way Out for
China" seminar, followed by a bonfire picnic dinner party. The participants spoke freely, until 10
pm in the night. The theme of the
seminar was: The China-USA Economic and Trade Relations During the Trump
Times. The keynote speaker was Xia
Yeliang, a visitor fellow at the Cato Institute and a former Economics
Professor at the Peking University.
The seminar was moderated by the president of the foundation, Wei
Jingsheng.
The
keynote speaker and participants discussed the likely Sino-US economic and
trade situation after Donald Trump is sworn in as the new president of the
United States on January 20. The
participants agreed that Trump would fulfill a majority of his promises, and
that Sino-US trade relations are likely going downwards. The impact on the US market will be
very small, because the United States will find substitute sources easily. However, the impact will be great for
China because it will be difficult for China to find an alternative market like
the United States.
As
China's economy has already been going downward, there will be a chain reaction
from the loss of the trade, eventually leading to economic collapse or economic
crisis in China. As the Xi Jinping
and Wang Qishan clique has already plunged into an internal crisis, the
additional external economic or military crisis will result in a high
probability of the prospects for the collapse of the Communist regime in China.
At
this moment, it is necessary to review and learn the lessons of history. The Wei Jingsheng Foundation will hold
its third "The Way Out for China" seminar on February 25, 2017 from 2
pm to 5 pm in Washington, DC, USA.
The seminar is to specially commemorate Yu Luoke, the human rights
pioneer who was executed almost 47 years ago due to his writing "Theory of
the Origin of Family Background", a declaration of human rights in
China. This theme of this seminar
will be: Yu Luoke and the Unequal Society in China. The keynote speaker will be: Yu Luowen, the younger brother
of Yu Luoke. Information about
other speakers and related details will be announced later.
During
the seminar, we will provide drinks and snacks, as well as 20 minutes of break
time, followed by a dinner. We
welcome all the participants to attend our dinner. Anyone interested in attending a particular seminar, please

魏京生基金会召开了第二期"中国的出路"系列研讨会，并将于本月召开第三期研讨会
2017年1月21日下午2点，魏京生基金会召开了第二期"中国的出路"系列研讨会，之后进行了篝火野餐的宴会，大家畅所欲言，一直到晚上10点结束。此次研究会的主题为：川普时代的中美经贸关系。主讲人是卡托研究所研究员，原北京大学教授夏业良。主持人是基金会主席魏京生。
主讲人和听众们主要讨论的是：在1月20日川普宣誓就任总统后中美经济贸易形势。主宾都认为川普会实现他的大部分诺言；中美贸易关系很有可能走向低谷。对美国市场来说影响很小；因为美国会很容易找到替补来源。对中国来说影响将会很大；因为中国很难找到和美国一样的替代市场。
由于中国经济已经走进低谷，贸易商的损失将产生连锁反应，最终导致中国经济崩溃，或者说出现经济危机。在习近平、王岐山集团已经陷入内部危机的同时，如果再陷入外部的经济或者军事危机，中共政权的崩溃将是大概率的前景。
在此时刻，回顾并接受历史的教训很有必要。为此魏京生基金会将在2017年2月25日星期日下午2点至5点在美国首都华盛顿举办第三期"中国的出路"系列研讨会，纪念因撰写人权宣言《出身论》的先知遇罗克遇难47周年。演讲会的主题为：遇罗克与中国的不平等社会。主讲人是遇罗克的弟弟遇罗文。有关其它演讲人物及研讨细节日后再公布。
