Event
Announcement: Wei Jingsheng to Speak at the Opening Ceremony of the First
International Human Rights Art Festival in New York City
On
the evening of March 3, 2017, Friday, Wei Jingsheng will attend and speak at
the opening ceremony of the first International Human Rights Art Festival in
New York City. This festival is
held in Dixon Place, located at 161A Chrystie street, New York, NY 10002,
USA. Wei Jingsheng is one of the
honorary co-sponsors of this event.
It
is the third time of cooperation between Wei Jingsheng and Tom Block, the
producer of this art festival.
During the opening ceremony, Mr. Tom Block will present his artwork, a
portrait of Wei Jingsheng, to Mr. Wei.
On the stage there will also be other artworks exhibited, including
several pieces from the Wei Jingsheng Foundation that include artwork and
calligraphy, and some portraits of Wei Jingsheng by other artists, such as
Haiyan and Wei Shanshan, and calligraphy by Dr. George Songlin Ren, etc.

2017年3月3日周五晚上，魏京生将出席第一届国际人权艺术节的开幕式。这个历时三天的艺术节将在Dixon
Place举办，地址是美国纽约市的161A chrystie街道。魏京生是本次活动的荣誉赞助人之一。
