The War Crisis in China

-- Wei Jingsheng

Now China's military fans and "angry youths" have put most of their attention on the Sino-Indian border dispute.  As usual, they cried and shouted to destroy India in a few weeks, and so on.  But they seem to forget that there is a greater threat on the other side, the nuclear weapons in North Korea and the United States getting more and more close to its determination to destroy them.

The reason that they seem to forget North Korea at least in part due to the fact that they dare to offend the gentleman but not the villain.  This proves the internal cowardice of these "angry youths" who do not take resposibility for what they say.  When you are making a rational argument with them, they will be really angry; but when they face the real rogue, some of them will greet him with smiles, while others simply flatter, saying something like "brothers belong to one family".

Of course, there are some that simply take the benefit of others, and thus do not dare to speak against the others.  Although India is also very corrupt, in the end it has a big difference with China because it failed to enter the same corrupt circles of Chinese officialdom.  So these "angry youths" are naturally not afraid of offending whoever, and would just say whatever they like.

But now it is the Chinese Communist leaders meeting in Beidaihe who are a bit disoriented.  Both sides have a crisis, but it is impossible to fight on both sides.  All the money from the Kim family in North Korea now comes to a critical moment in play.  Therefore, they are deciding they must convince the muddle-minded Xi Jinping to defend the young Kim Jong-un while withholding pressure from the United States.  From the remarks by that dull Chinese Foreign Minister, you can see some clues.

I guess that their reason to persuade Xi Jinping was: Do not force the young Kim Jong-un too much, otherwise his nuclear weapons may not be able to hit the United States but can hit China.  The United States wants to fight against North Korea, so we may just sit on the mountain and watch the tigers fighting against each other, although we do not rule out picking up the matured peaches after they have ripened themselves.  This is very clear when we noticed that Xi Jinping did not really follow the United Nations resolution that he voted in favor of.

It is impossible for China to help Kim Jong-un, which was made clear by the monthpiece of the Chinese Communist regime.  Because all the weak leaders of the Chinese Communist Party understand that there is no ability to fight the United States again.  In this issue they are sober and will not be fooled by these "angry youths".  Not only would they certainly be defeated by the United States when a war broken out, but the Chinese economy will collapse, thus the death of the Communist regime in China.  They do have enough cleverness regarding this.

Unfortunately, the level of their think tanks is only to the level of these Internet "angry youths."  They do not know the situation has changed and do not know that this moment is not the same as the last moment.  What a humiliation to the Chinse wisdom of more than two thousand years.  The era of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il acting as little brothers of the Chinese Communist Party with a  willingness to play the bastard in East Asia has gone.  A crazy child who was protected too well and does not know danger, yet has nuclear weapons in his hands, hates most of the adults who tried to discipline him.

Why have the several governments of the South Korea in the past several decades rather spent a lot of money to use the sunshine policy to feed this rogue regime?  Verbally they said that the same nation should not kill one another.  But who really believe it besides the elder women who like to watch  soap TV series of love on their beds?  If we watch the TV series about the mafia from Hong Kong, then we know that it is the head of the mafia who is threatened first when the little brother in the gang grows strong.  Specifically, when North Korea is well fed with money, especially when it has nuclear weapons, its first threat was against China.

As Kim Jong-un's anger against his northern neighbor reached to the degree of being unable to cover up, the eunuchs around Xi Jinping still trick him into thinking that he still posses the qualification of a master in an attempt to limit the behavior of Kim Jong-un.  This kind of story has been repeated many times in history -- every time the consequences were chaos and the people lost homes and were displaced.  With the nuclear weapons as additions, the consequences are unbearable.

We do not expect Xi Jinping and his eunuchs have high IQs.  As long as they study the cases of successful Mafia bosses in Hong Kong, they should know how to deal with a little brother now grown big.  In that case, the successful Mafia bosses would rather to join hands with their opponents of the past on the premise of deviding the loot to get rid of the little brother with ambition.  Thus, they were able to return a peaceful world to everyone.  Otherwise, waiting for the United States to start alone, the merger of the younger brothers of the North and the South will be an even tougher and more powerful opponent.

Will the United States agree?  It depends on what conditions you have given.  Would South Korea agree?  Of course.  Can not we see after so many years?  What South Koreans are worried most about are the tens of millions of poor people who were brain washed.  They are anxious to have some country willing to accept these poor people, instead of becoming a disaster for South Koreans.  This is why the United States has hesitated to start taking action.  South Korea has repeatedly hindered the strikes against the nuclear weapons of Kim Jong-un because it has not found shelters for those tens of millions of poor people who were brain washed.  Is not this the chance for China?

Of course, for China, these tens of millions of extremely evil refugees are indeed a headache as well.  So, is it better to let them flee to China, or stay on the peninsula and accept relief?  This is a matter of takinng the lesser of two evils.  Is it easier to destroy a madman?  Or better to wait until he has thrown dozens of nuclear warheads into China?  This is also a matter of taking the lesser of two evils.  If you really wait until then, then the United States and South Korea will certainly be sitting on the mountain and watching the tigers fighting against each other.  Because the result is certainly that the Chinese Communist regime and the Kim regime will die together.  However, the people of both China and North Korea will suffer.  This is what I do not want to see.

When China and the USA join hands to eliminate the madman regime of North Korea, it is to help the United States and South Korea to reduce their burdens.  The United States certainly will be willing, but not necessarily the South Koreans.  They will pretend to take the morals of Confucians, in the name of "Koreans do not fight against Koreans", and so on, and then to lay out conditions for the United States and China.  The Koreans certainly have the mentality of "wanting to eat fish, but also not wanting to be stained with fishy smell"; that is they want to take advantage yet not want to pay the price.  This is an immature mentality of this nation.

Then it maybe best to simply to let North Korea to manage on its own, provided that it completely eliminates all possibilities of its development of nuclear weapons, including nuclear materials, equipment and personnel.  This must be completed under international supervision, and then China will withdraw it troops.  China should also demand them to be responsible for the financial expenses of the refugee relief and the military spending consumed by China.  Certainly, this solution is also acceptable by the United States -- the United States does not mind that little selfishness of the South Korea.

Regarding India, there was nothing but a self-disturbance by Xi Jinping.  If war indeed broke out, it would be a tough bone to chew on.  The military of India is several times that of North Korea.  And China lacks an adventage of the time, the place and the people, which is a tough bone with little meat to chew on.  So it would be better to give face to the United States -- ask it to mediate the dispute between China and India, and then focus on solving the hidden danger which is more damaging.
