Council Announces the 30th Commemoration of the June 4 Tiananmen Square
Massacre on June 1, 2019 (Saturday) 6:00-9:30pm in Front of the Chinese Embassy
in Washington DC, USA (3505 International PL NW, Washington, DC)

Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars Announcement
The
Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars in the USA (IFCSS)
council held a council quarterly meeting on February 23, 2019, which lasted
less than 3 hours. All IFCSS
council members attended the meeting.
The alternate council member Yang Qianyi also attended the meeting for
the first time.
The
council welcomed Yang Qianyi to join the council for the first time and
reviewed and accepted the financial reports and all subcommittee reports.
The
council adopted a resolution to set the IFCSS June 4 30th Anniversary Memorial
Service schedule one hour ahead of the original scheduled time. The council held a detailed discussion
on the preparations for the IFCSS June 4 30th Anniversary Memorial service to
be held at on June 1, 2019 in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington
DC. The council delegated the task
of preparation to the organization committee for the IFCSS June 4 Memorial
service, headed by Huang Ciping.
Huang Ciping is to report to the council on the progress of the
preparation.
The
council spent time to discuss a resolution on the format for the IFCSS public
announcement and no resolution was adopted.

六四大屠杀30周年烛光纪念会将于
2019年6月1日（周六），下午六点至九点半
在中国驻美国首都大使馆前(地址：3505 International PL, NW, Washington, DC, USA)举行
全美学自联公告
全美学自联理事会于2019年2月23日举行了例常季度会议，所有正式理事均出席了会议。候补理事杨倩怡也首次参加会议。
理事会欢迎杨倩怡首次参加，并且听取和接受了财务委员会和工作委员会的报告。理事会通过决议提前一小时举行今年6月1日即将举行的全美学自联六四 30 周年纪念会。理事会对纪念活动的准备工作进行了讨论，责成六四30周年纪念会筹委会负责一切具体事务，报备理事会。
筹委会由黄慈萍牵头。
理事会讨论了有关学自联公开声明的格式规定，但是没有形成决议。
