Exhibition
of Artworks Marking the 30th Anniversary of the 6.4 Massacre in Front of the US
Capitol in Washington, DC, USA
On
May 9th, 2019, from 2pm to 5pm, the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, Humanitarian
China, Liberty Sculpture Park, China Democracy Party National Committee, Los
Angeles China Democracy Platform and other organizations will exhibit a tour of
an art show to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 6.4 massacre in front of
the US Capitol Hill. There will be
many human rights activists and pro-democracy activists speaking during the
event. The exhibit include more
than 100 paintings about the 1989 Democracy Movement in China that have been
accumulated since the June 4 Massacre in 1989 in Beijing, China. Washington is the third stop of the
tour of these artworks.
The
event venues in the Union Square area, which is between the Capitol Reflecting
Pool and Third Street SW (just east of Third St).
This
event, hosted by HUANG Ciping, will also have many speakers include WEI
Jingsheng, CHEN Weiming, WANG Juntao, CHEN Liqun and CHEN Chuangchuang.

有关在美国首都华盛顿的国会山前举办纪念6.4屠杀30周年绘画巡展的通知
2019年5月9日下午2点至5点，魏京生基金会、人道中国、自由雕塑公园、中国民主党全委会、洛杉矶民主平台等组织将在美国国会山前举办"纪念6.4屠杀30周年绘画巡展"并有多名人权活动家及民运人士演讲。展品包括6.4屠杀后积攒的一百多幅有关1989年民主运动的绘画艺术。华盛顿为该巡展的第三站。
活动地点为国会山前主轴映水池前（西3街之东）the Union Square, between the Capitol Reflecting Pool and Third
Street SW。活动由魏京生、陈维明、王军涛、陈立群、陈闯创等发表演讲，黄慈萍主持。
