In the Voice of America Window on the World program hosted by Zhi Yuan,
Wei Jingsheng pointed out that the unreliable entities
list of the foreign enterprises due to the sanction
claims of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) did not appear after more than a
year actually is very strange. Either it
would be Lockheed Martin, which actually has no trade with China; or it will be
a company driven out of China that will worsen the situation that Chinese
people already have to endure, so this will become the CCP's sanctions against
the Chinese people. The CCP is indeed
hesitant. On the one hand, it made
high-pitch claims to arouse patriotic enthusiasm. On the other hand, it worried about the blow
to its own economy.
Regarding the WTO's recent ruling on the Sino-US dispute, Wei Jingsheng
pointed out that this actually has no effect on the relationship between the
two countries, and it is only used by the CCP for public opinion. The CCP has spent a lot of power and money to
control international organizations, leading to a series of changes including
the recent resignation of the director-general of WTO. The fact that the CCPs
entry into international organizations yet violates their regulations is
large-scale and long-term.
Wei Jingsheng pointed out that the CCPs
principle is if I said it, it doesntt
have to be counted; if you counted it, I dont have to
do it. Wei
mentioned the past when Long Yingtu (Chinese economist) kept handing over notes
to Zhu Ronnie during the session when China joined the WTO, which meant that
the CCP could agree to any conditions, but they would not implement them. Yet, Western countries must implement them
seriously, therefore the United States and European countries will certainly
suffer. This was indeed a big historical
mistake of the West.
Wei Jingsheng also pointed out that for two decades he has been firmly
opposed to the CCPs profiteer trade, including
granting China permanent most favored nation status and allowing China to join
the WTO, not only to prevent Western countries from suffering losses, but also
in worrying that the Chinese people will suffer even more. In fact, not only has the gap between rich
and poor in China widened, but the power of the CCP has also strengthened
further. Therefore, the CCP not only
provoked externally, but also increased its suppression internally. Xi Jinping has already surpassed Mao Zedong,
and his actions are totally unreasonable.
This is the inevitable consequence of the strengthening the CCP.
Wei Jingsheng finally pointed out that both political parties in the
United States have politicians who firmly oppose the Communist regime and
support human rights in China. The major
U.S. election is approaching. Regardless
who is in power, the Communist Party wants to reverse the current
situation. It is impossible to return to
the past. This trend will continue. The CCP, especially with Xi Jinpings current increasingly tough wolf
warrior approach, is unwilling to make concessions,
prompted the US to respond. In the end,
the two countries had to decouple.

在美国之音致远主持的时事经纬节目中，魏京生指出，有关中共声称制裁列出的不可靠实体清单，过了一年多还是没出现，其实是很诡异的。它要不就是Lockheed Martin，其实跟中国没什么交易；要不就是将之赶出中国，会让中国老百姓雪上加霜的公司，所以这已成为中共对中共老百姓的制裁。中共的确很犹豫。一方面它高调宣称，以期唤起爱国热情，一方面又担心对其自己经济的打击。
就WTO最近有关中美纠纷的裁决，魏京生指出这对两国关系其实没什么影响，只是被中共用于舆论上的作用。中共花了许多力量与金钱来控制国际组织，导致一系列变化，尤其是最近WTO领导人的辞职。而中共加入国际组织却违反国家规定是大规模与长期的。
魏京生指出中共一向的原则是说了可以不算，算了可以不做。他提到在中共加入WTO时龙应图给朱镕基递条子的往事，意思是中共可以答应任何条件，但却必不执行，而西方国家却必须认真执行，所以欧美当然会吃亏。这的确是西方很大的一个历史性错误。
魏京生还指出，二十年来他一直坚定地反对中共的奸商贸易包括给与中国永久最优惠国待遇及容许其加入WTO，不仅仅是为了避免西方国家吃亏，也是担忧中国的老百姓更要倒霉了。实际上，不仅中国的贫富差距拉大了，中共的权力也巩固了。因此中共不但对外挑衅，对内也增加了镇压力度，习近平已经超过毛泽东，而且根本不讲理。这是中共实力加强后的必然后果。
魏京生最后指出，美国两党都有坚定反对共产党，支持中国人权的政治家。美国大选在即，无论美国两党谁执政，共产党想扭转目前局势，回到以前是不可能了。这个趋势会一直进行下去。中共尤其是习近平目前这种越来越强硬的战狼式做法，不愿意让步，也促使美方回应，最后两国不得不脱钩。
