About US Department of Justice and FBI indicted 8 personnel involved in Chinas "Operation Fox Hunt in the USA

-- Ms. Lin Yueyang of Radio Free Asia Interviews Ms. HUANG Ciping, Attorney Xiang Xiaoji, and Dr. Wang Juntao

2020-11-14

How did Xu Jin, the former director of the Wuhan Development and Reform Commission and his wife Liu Fang, who live low-key in New Jersey, USA, have their identities on Chinas "One Hundred Red Notices List" identified and whereabouts revealed?  It was a coincidence that Xu Jin arranged his retreat through immigration to the United States.  When the couple came to the United States in 2011, they already obtained temporary green cards, but the "California Investment Immigration Fund" that accepted their investment immigration application was investigated for suspected immigration fraud.  In this investigation, the identities of Xu Jin and Liu Fang were exposed.

How the laws of the United States will view of Chinese polices arresting corrupt Chinese officials in the United States?  Chinese police officers must cooperate with the US to act, otherwise it is illegal.  In the past, Chinese law enforcement overseas has been widely criticized, such as (the kidnappings of) Wang Bingzhang, Peng Ming, and the Causeway Bay Booksellers.

Radio Free Asia Lin Yueyang interviewed Xiang Xiaoji, an attorney with a law degree from Colombia University; Huang Ciping, Executive Director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation; and Dr. Wang Juntao, who obtained Ph.D. from Columbia University, about these topics.

Huang Ciping, executive director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, first stated that she was very excited about the actions taken by the US government against those who participated in the Chinese "Fox Hunt" in the United States.  Huang Ciping especially emphasized that the Chinese police's commanding of "Operation Fox Hunt" in the United States violated the sovereignty of the United States.  She also disclosed the experiences of repeated invasions, harassment and intimidations of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation office.  Huang Ciping stated that as dissidents who already suffered the persecution in China, it was very sad and indignant that we would still be harassed by the CCP in the United States.  Now she feels that this free world of the USA is safe.

Looking back on the kidnapping of Wang Bingzhang, Peng Ming, and Gui Minhai etc. back to China, Huang Ciping also pointed out that the overseas kidnapping of the CCP must be severely cracked down on.  The CCPs current war wolf diplomacy is more serious in both ideology and behavior than the " Assassination of Henry Liu" by the Republic of China.  If the United States compromises with the CCP for the benefit of Wall Street, it will ultimately not only fail to protect Chinese dissidents in the United States, but also harm the security of the United States itself.
