Wei Jingsheng Gives Lecture about China in Georgetown Day School in Washington DC, USA

On the morning of Feb. 11, the Chinese New Year eve, Wei Jingsheng was invited to give a one-hour long lecture to high school students and teachers in history at Georgetown Day School in Washington DC. This school is one of the most academically rigorous and selective institutions in Washington DC. The lecture started with an introduction to the life of Mr. Wei Jingsheng.

Mr. Wei's lecture started by discussing what kind of country China was two thousand years ago and what it is under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party in the present day. The lecture also included some of the mistakes made by the United States during the modern era in China. These mistakes started from the Chinese civil war period between the KMT and the Communist Party, and continued until today when unfair trade harms the United States and fattens the Chinese Communist Party. The reasons for these mistakes are mainly due to a general misconception that Americans have about the Communist Party, which are inevitable misjudgements when one uses the common sense of normal people to interpret the law of an evil cult gang. Finally, Wei Jingsheng told the students that the prerequisite for change is to know and understand the truth. He encouraged them to study hard and to think in depth.

魏京生在美国首都华盛顿的乔治城私立走读学校教授中国历史

2021年2月11日上午，魏京生应邀给美国首都华盛顿的乔治城私立走读学校的高中师生们作了一个小时的有关中国历史的讲课。乔治城私立走读学校是华盛顿最严谨和最具选择性的院校之一，并教育过许多美国政府高官的孩子。一位同学向师生们介绍了魏先生的生平后，魏先生将中国历史尤其是近代史压缩成一堂课。

魏先生的讲课从中国是一个什么样的国家开始，一直到现代共产党统治下的状况，其中包括美国在近代中国所犯下的错误。这些错误从国共内战时期开始，一直到现在的不公平贸易损害了美国，养肥了中共。错误的原因主要是美国人普遍对共产党的无知，用正常人的常识去解读邪教黑帮的规律就必然产生误判。最后，魏京生对年轻人们说，要改变的前提是了解和理解真相，他鼓励学生们认真学习，深度思考。
