There Are So Many Weird Things in This Weird Country

-- Wei Jingsheng

At the beginning of the new year, a little piece of news came out.  The United States prohibits corrupt foreign officials and relatives from coming to the United States, including transferring funds, etc.  But that was a big deal in China, and the media from the central to the local governments vigorously criticized it, which was very similar to the old saying: "It's like mourning the death of one’s parents."  This is really weird.

The USA bans dirty money from entering its country.  Doesn’t this help anti-corruption campaigns in China?  Why doesn't the Chinese government agree, but instead is so upset?  Normal people really can't understand it.  But anyone who has a little common sense about China can see the weird reason in it at a glance.  It is because China is no longer the China of the Chinese people; this ban harms the government-business class that is transferring funds, wives and children to outside of China.  These people are the bureaucratic capitalist class in China.

Some friends questioned whether money entering the United States would be beneficial to American’s economy.  Why object to it?  The problem is that the money entering the United States also strengthens the CCP’s penetration of the United States, fundamentally endangering the security of the United States.  These people eat on both sides.  They send their wives, children and money to the United States for their own security, but it is also necessary to infiltrate the USA for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), otherwise their lives will not be easy in China.  Showing loyalty to the CCP is an important condition for survival, which determines the characteristics of these people who eat on both sides.

Why do the bureaucratic capitalists in China betray their own country and the CCP?  It is why the rats will run away first if the ship is going to sink.  If the ship is going to sink, it is first of all related to one's own survival.  The place of life and death, the way of survival, must be carefully observed and evaluated.  With Xi Jinping’s paranoia, fickleness and ruthlessness, who is absolutely safe?  Moreover, the CCP’s anti-corruption campaign is just an excuse to eliminate suspicious opponents.  Who knows when he will become a person to be suspected?  A gentleman does not stand under a dangerous wall but arranges his retreat first, thus he become an outstanding person as he understand the current affairs.

Even if you believe that you are in an even closer relationship to Xi Jinping than Liu Yuan and Liu He, and will not touch political red lines, you will not be able to withstand being purged after the economic collapse and when you will become a scapegoat of Xi Jinping.  So how could the hot economy collapse in China?  Three feet of ice does not come from the coldness of one day.  Since the reform and opening up of several generations of the CCP leaders, the GDP has become a hard indicator of political performance and the original basis for promotion and wealth.  As a result, the infrastructure construction craze has been intensified.  Poverty-stricken counties and cities can spend hundreds of millions of dollars to build useless projects to polish their images.  Large companies can become insolvent and build buildings that never get finished.  When this trend accumulates, the banking industry becomes no longer able to shoulder huge debts, and economic collapse is just around the corner.

Some people suggest that when the banks have no money, they can just issue banknotes.  This is the standard terminology used by insiders to deceive outsiders.  The common Chinese are so poor that they could hardly afford food, so the CCP has to start harvesting wealth from the rich.  When the CCP exhausted the middle class, it would become the turn of the big bureaucracy capitalists.  The stock market was not easy to exploit, so it is said that it has been targeting the upper echelons of the bureaucratic capitalists.  Xi Jinping resorts to using cruel ways to get money from them, which shows the true nature of his father (Xi Zhongxun) attacking local tycoons to get money years ago.  Unless you are fools, one has to run away quickly.

Some people saw the inevitability of the collapse years ago and quickly sold their real estate at high prices.  This should not be considered as smart, but just a matter of calm judgment based on common sense.  Any commodity that far exceeds demand will inevitably be unsold and accumulate capital instead.  A large proportion of capital backlog will inevitably lead to an economic crisis.  Many economists don’t understand why the CCP would choose such silly policies as the maniacal infrastructure boom.  And now that the real estate can no longer be sold, why does it want to inject more funds and accumulate further economic crisis?

There must be something wrong here, and it can't be explained by people being stupid and having too much money.  This has something to do with the authoritarian politics of the Communists.  These people have been educated in Marxism-Leninism since childhood, and their minds are full of what determines this and that.  They think that as long as they grasp something, they can unlock a thousand locks with that one key.  When turning from the vague planned economy to a market economy, they take a look at what capitalism relies on to measure economic development.  The GDP is that hard indicator.

So, for this decisive hard indicator, it has created countless weird economic miracles that guarantee loss instead of profit, and has accumulated into the current economic crisis in China.  The smart rats have almost all run away by now.
